PEQ1 Single Module

New revision "B"- the PEQ1 is a fully Class-A discrete 1970's-style mic-pre/equalizer. It can directly replace the 1073. The 18-way gold plated Amphenol connector will mate with vintage Neve "80 Series" consoles or racks. The similarity to the 1073 stops there! (REQUIRES POWERED RACK)

Wunder PAFOUR

The Wunder Audio PAFOUR is the 19" rack mount, four-channel microphone preamplifier version of the PEQ1. The PAFOUR is a fully Class-A discrete 1970's-style mic-pre utilizing the exact mic-pre circuit as the PEQ1. The design employs proprietary, custom-designed mic, and output transformers. It is no secret that the huge sound is due to the make-up of the Mu-Metal transformers. In the PAFOUR, you get four channels of the Wunder Audio sound in one unit!

Wunder PEQ1R - 19" Rack Mount

New revision "B"- the PEQ1R is the 19" rack mount version of the PEQ1. It has a conductive plastic logarithmic taper output level potentiometer, which acts as an output fader, a 48V phantom power switch and a quarter inch instrument input jack.

Wunder Audio Black Box

The Wunder Audio Black Box powers up to 24 PEQ1R modules with plenty of head room and up to 8 PAFOURs for up to 32 channels. Separate power indicator LEDs for 24V DC and 48V DC phantom power.

Wunder Audio CM7 Microphone

The Wunder Audio CM7 Tube Microphone comes with the original large-style U47 transformer that was used in the earlier U47's, including the legendary "Large Badge" U47. These first couple of hundred U47's are very sought after sonically. The CM7 transformer's larger size and high nickel content achieves better low end rolling off at 20 Hz, identical to the original U47 design, instead of 40 Hz. The smaller 40 Hz transformer that was used in later versions of the U47 was made with the 40 Hz roll-off as a requirement for the IRT (German Broadcasting Network). In modern day recording this capability to capture the low end frequencies is essential. Package includes: CM7, Plush Oak Box, Historical Shock Mount, Power supply, Original large Tuchel connected mic cable. Comes standard with the M7 capsule. Please note: the picture to the left shows a stand mount, this is just to show the microphone and is the only picture the manufacturer has provided us, the microphone does not come with this stand mount, it comes with a shockmount as stated above.

The Wunder Audio CM12 Tube Microphone is targeted to the professional with the most demanding criteria. The CM12 uses the larger Hiller T14/1 output transformer that was standard in the early C12. The beautiful hand made Capsule is a CK12 style. These boutique microphones are hand assembled in Texas per customers order.

Wunder Audio CM12H Microphone

The Wunder Audio CM12H (historical) Tube Microphone is a limited edition microphone system that uses the vintage-style power supply with a separate pattern-selector box and original-style interconnecting cables. The CM12H uses the larger Hiller T14/1 output transformer that was standard in the early C12. The hand made Capsule is an exact recreation of the original CK12 capsule. These boutique microphones are hand assembled in Texas per customers order.

Wunder Audio CM49 Microphone

The Wunder Audio CM49 Tube Microphone comes with the original AC701K tube and M7 capsule. The M49 was the first condenser microphone capable of remote pattern control, achieved through electronic means. By varying the rear-diaphragm voltage against the backplate reference, a full range of patterns, from omni to cardioid to figure-8, was accomplished. Because the grille is slanted and presents a continuously varying profile to the capsule, there are fewer standing waves generated.

The Wunder Audio CM50 Tube Microphone comes with the original AC701K tube and Spherical capsule. "Simply one of the most wonderful sounding room mics in the world." The CM50 represents the pinnacle in a revered line of microphones that stretches back to the very earliest days of the Pro Audio. The inspiration is classic, the execution is cutting-edge. We have successfully recreated the small pressure transducer (similar to the capsule for the KM series microphones) embedded in the surface of a 40 mm diameter Lucite sphere.
