The Vintech 609CA Compressor/Limiter
The Vintech Audio 609CA is a transformer balanced stereo compressor/limiter with with class A, all discrete output amplifiers. The compression and limiting circuitry is based on the classic Neve 33609, while the output amplifiers are more similar to the Neve 2254.

The Vintech 273 Stereo Mic Pre/EQ
The Vintech Audio 273 Class A discrete stereo preamp is the same preamp used in the 473 and the X73i. It has 70 db of gain (think of it as a 2 channel version of the 473). It also has simple EQ on each channel, 'reductive or additive' per hi or low shelf. Great for brightening, dulling, thinning or making the sound fatter during tracking. While many people love the classic Neve 1081 module because of it's versatile equalizer section, many feel that it's use of class AB amplifiers causes it to lack that certain "magic" associated with the class A amplifiers found in the Neve 1073 module. Our new "X81 Class A" features the same great microphone preamplifier as our X73, but with a more comprehensive four band equalizer with "Q" adjustment on the two mid range frequencies. We utilize the same class A amplifier designs found in he Neve 1073 module throughout our X81 Class A. The equalizer section features ten low mid frequency points, 10 hi mid frequencies, 5 frequecy choices on both the low and high shelving adjustments. There is also a high pass filter, a D.I. and an ouput strength meter.

This is the best bang for the buck preamp in the professional category. It can sit in the rack with the best of them, and won't break the bank either. Class A, Discrete, Transformer Balanced Microphone Preamps. Made with the same components and design as original Neve 1272 modules. The Vintech 1272 preamp come in a 2 channer, 2 rack space chassis. Each channel includes an input sensitivity switch, an output gain potentiometer, a phase re-verse switch, phantom power and 4-L.E.D. output strength display. Also included is a 1/4" direct input for each channel.
Each Vintech 1272 comes with a one year parts and labor warranty.

There have been extensive comparisons between the Vintech X73 and Brent Averill and Original Neve modules. There have been comparisons done in the studio and at AES Los Angeles.
