The Millenia STT-1 isn't your typical Line channel. This unit has literally changed the way we here at Atlas Pro Audio percieve the engineering process. It has the ability to be clear and pristine (frighteningly so) for critical and accurate representation of sound, or deliver color and thickness that is appropriate to today's pop and rock sounds. This unit is called "Twin Topology", but we think it should be called "Quad Topology". Not only can you switch the tubes in or out of the signal path, but you can also switch the transformer in or out (A transformer is responsible for that rich sound you hear in units like Neve preamps), yielding thick classic sounds. This is the only unit in the Millenia line that currently uses Transformers. A pair of these units also excell at two bus applications. The complete flexibility of a four band eq (fully parametric mids with peak or shelf high and low bands) and a fast attack Opto compressor (2ms). The STT-1 "Origin" is an outstanding value.
