MicKing TM & Xtra Boom TM
Latchlake micKing TM
Tired of precariously balancing your expensive mics? Wish you could get a mic low enough for that drum?

So was Jeff Roberts, President of Latch Lake Music. One day while recording piano, he was alarmed to hear the pianist say that one of the microphones was laying on the piano harp. This was especially annoying since he had just tightened the boom clutch very close to it's breaking point. He wondered how anything could be so mechanically bankrupt as a mic stand.

The micKingTM is small enough to fit in real world studios yet tall enough for tough choral and orchestral recording.
The micKingTM adjusts more quickly and easily than any other stand.
The micKingTM's joints are very tight.
The micKingTM doesn't take up as much space as other stands.
The micKingTM's boom and vertical sections are made of strong steel tubing.
ADD Latch Lake's Xtra BoomsTM and it allows you to have several mics per stand.

Latchlake MicKing 2200 Mic Stand
This is the newest item from Latchlake. The 2200 stand is the smaller cousin to the full size MicKing stand that sells for $750.00. Some of the features of the 2200 stand are: 14' when fully extended, built-in tilt wheels, 28lb base (90% of the weight on the outer perimeter), spin grip mic pivot, world's strongest boom clutch, and built-in clip cords.
Atlas Price $450.00

XTRA Booms
The Latch Lake Xtra™ Boom allows you to use multiple microphones on one stand. The Xtra Boom clamps on to any tube from 5/8" to 1" diameter. The Xtra Boom clutch is very strong, much stronger than the boom clutch on a standard Austrian tripod boom stand. An Xtra Boom is strong enough to hold any large diaphragm tube microphone. Xtra Booms are perfect for miking drums and singing guitar players, or anyplace that you want to hang more than one mic but don’t want the clutter of more stands. You can multi-mic a drum kit with only two or three stands and multiple Xtra Booms. Shown above attached to the MicKing stand.
