The Model 992 TLS is a transformer-less input design utilizing twin (matched) 400v ASC caps along with two USA made 6072’s per channel. This configuration provides >50dB of gain (usually about 52db) with a typical non-weighted EIN of -114 to -116dB.

All other design elements are the same.

| LaChapell Model 583
Due for release later this year, the Model 583 will be the first vacuum tube preamplifier with EQ available in the 500 format. The 583 is based on our popular 992EG platform but utilizes a single-ended amp stage along with a solid-state output stage. With this configuration the 583 will be able to deliver >70dB of gain with a typical non-weighted EIN of -122dB referencing 150ohm load. Additional details will be available soon.
